Contemporary Log Home

I built this contemporary log home to prove that log construction isn’t just for rustic cabins. Clean lines, open spaces, and the warmth of real wood — a modern home with a timeless soul.

When I take on a home build, I bring the same mindset I bring to my guitars and furniture: honest materials, careful joinery, and no shortcuts.

This log home combines traditional log construction with contemporary design — large windows, open floor plan, and modern amenities, all wrapped in the natural beauty of real logs. Every log was selected, peeled, and fitted by hand.

Building a home is the biggest thing I do. It’s not just about the structure — it’s about creating a place where a family will live their lives. I take that seriously, and I build every home like it’s my own.
