I don’t do cookie-cutter landscaping. You know the kind — same three shrubs, same mulch, same look as every other house on the street. It might look tidy, but it doesn’t feel like anything.

When I work on a yard, I start by looking at the land itself. Where does the water go when it rains? Where’s the sun in the morning versus the afternoon? What’s already growing there that wants to stay? The land tells you what it wants if you pay attention.

Then I build around that. Stone work that looks like it’s been there forever. Plantings that’ll thrive instead of just survive. Paths that take you somewhere worth going.

A good yard doesn’t look “landscaped.” It looks like it was always supposed to be that way.

If your yard feels like a stranger to your house, let’s talk. I’ll walk the property with you and tell you straight what I’d do.
