“Should I get a Tele or a Strat?” I hear it all the time. Here’s my honest answer: it depends on what your hands want to do.

The Tele is a workhorse. Simple, honest, twang for days. Two pickups, no nonsense. It’s the guitar that shows up, does the job, and doesn’t complain. If you play country, rock, blues — anything where you need to cut through — the Tele’s got your back.

The Strat is the shape-shifter. Three pickups, five positions, and that curved body that sits right against you. It’s comfortable for hours. It’ll do glassy cleans, screaming leads, and everything between. If you don’t know what you want yet, a Strat won’t box you in.

But here’s what I really tell people: the best guitar is the one that makes you want to pick it up. Specs don’t matter if it sits in the corner.

That’s why I build custom. I can take the bones of either one and shape it around you — your hands, your style, your sound.

Come play a few. You’ll know when it’s right.
